Sir Peter Mason KBE
Sir Peter Mason was appointed to the Board on 22 January 2003. He is also a member of the Audit, Corporate Responsibility and Nominations committees.
Sir Peter is currently Chairman of Thames Water and is the senior non-executive director of Subsea 7 S.A. He retired as Chief Executive Officer of AMEC plc in September 2006 and prior to that held a number of appointments in the engineering and construction industry including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Balfour Beatty Ltd.
Sir Peter has been appointed as the Board's Senior Independent Director.
