BAE Systems is a leading provider of advanced radiation-hardened electronics to the missile defense and space markets. These products have enabled a wide variety of civil, commercial, and national security space missions for the past twenty years.

BAE Systems’ family of radiation-hardened products includes:
- The RAD750® microprocessor, the industry leading and most technologically advanced microprocessor ever offered to the space community.
- A suite of memory products, including 4 Mb and 16 Mb static random access memory, first-in first-out memory, programmable read-only memory, L2 cache and SSRAM memory, and the new 2 Mb and 4 Mb non-volatile chalcogenide random access memoryTM (C-RAM) memory products.
- A full line of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), including quick-turnaround structured ASICs, and low-power, high-performance, standard-cell ASICs.
- A series of standard products, including BAE Systems’ Spacewire ASIC, and a return to production of the RH1020 and RH1280 field-programmable gate arrays.
BAE Systems’ products are built upon its qualified manufacturers list semiconductor technology. BAE Systems’ Semiconductor Technology Center (STC) provides 150 nm and 250 nm products, and supports the rebuilding of legacy 0.5 micron and 0.8 micron products. The STC is a flexible manufacturing facility capable of building mega-rad-hardened electronics. In addition, the center works with innovative materials processes to produce carbon nanotube logic, the C-RAM memory product, electronic-photonic integrated circuits, and advanced microbolometers for thermal imagers.
