This high-resolution (1280 x 1024) LCD monitor uses commercial, off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware, and has been ruggedized for airborne, shipboard, and land-mobile applications.
The monitor is compatible with all PC and workstation interfaces, and can be mounted in a standard 19-inch rack or in consoles. The monitor can also be procured in a two or three RU/19-inch draw configurations, ready to deploy in landscape orientation.
Based on mature COTS AMLCD technology, this flat-panel monitor has the proven electro-optical performance of a NEC LCD 2010 monitor in a ruggedized product.

APPLICATIONS
The monitor is under contract for the U.K.'s Nimrod MRA4 maritime reconnaissance aircraft and Canada's Victoria class submarine, where it displays command and control information and blink-free sonar acoustic presentations. The Victoria class submarine application also includes touch-screen and zero-backlight-brightness (0.01 fL) capabilities. In addition, the monitor will be integrated into the Erieye AEW&C aircraft for Greece and the U.S. Air Force B-52 upgrade.
