We are proud to be helping the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal (www.poppy.org/), remembering the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women.
Additionally in the UK, BAE Systems supports a number of armed forces charities including Combat Stress (www.combatstress.org.uk) and the British Limbless Ex-Serviceperson’s Association (www.blesma.org). The company is a corporate friend to SSAFA Forces Help (www.ssafa.org.uk), and has given a major donation to help provide accommodation for families and loved ones to visit recovering service personnel at the rehabilitation centres in Headley Court, Surrey and Selly Oak, Birmingham.
BAE Systems also sponsors the UK Ministry of Defence's 'Christmas Box' scheme as well as morale-boosting concerts for troops organised by the British Forces Foundation (www.bff.org.uk)
Furthermore, the company helps hundreds of UK armed forces personnel pursue sporting triumph through bursaries provided to the Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and Army Sports Boards.
