Amy Shevlin
Amy Shevlin is vice president of human resources for the Electronics, Intelligence & Support (EI&S) operating group within BAE Systems.
EI&S, with headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, employs more than 33,000 people and serves the electronics, services, information technology, and power and controls markets. The group provides a wide range of electronic systems and subsystems for military and commercial applications, as well as integrated technical and professional service solutions for U.S. national security and federal markets.
Shevlin previously was vice president of human resources for the former BAE Systems Electronics & Integrated Solutions operating group, where she supported the human resources needs of 18,000 employees at numerous sites across the United States and overseas.
Shevlin has been a part of BAE Systems and its heritage companies since 1994. During this time, she has served in a number of senior human resources roles, including managing the company’s Human Resources Leadership Development program from 2001 to 2005. She also has worked in staffing management, the U.S.-centered Recruiting Process Group, human resources management, and as a compensation representative. She began her human resources career with Digital Equipment Corporation in 1988.
Shevlin received a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and a master’s degree in administrative studies and organizational policy from Boston University. She and her husband, Robert, live in Nashua, New Hampshire. They have one son.
