Jeffrey C. Dodson

J.C. Dodson is vice president and chief security officer for the Electronics, Intelligence & Support (EI&S) operating group within BAE Systems. He leads a global security organization responsible for information, physical, and personnel security operations; national industrial security policy implementation; and protection of sensitive technology.

EI&S, with headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, employs more than 33,000 people and serves the electronics, services, information technology, and power and controls markets. The group provides a wide range of electronic systems and subsystems for military and commercial applications, as well as integrated technical and professional service solutions for U.S. national security and federal markets.

Dodson previously served as vice president and chief security officer for the former BAE Systems Electronics & Integrated Solutions operating group. Prior to that, he was director of advanced programs and business development for the company’s Information Warfare business. He also served the company as program manager and business development director for space systems and electronics.

Dodson joined BAE Systems in 2002 following a 22-year career with the U.S. Air Force that included operational, acquisition management, and command assignments. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a master’s degree in aviation management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a master’s degree in national resource strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He and his wife, Nancy, live in Amherst, New Hampshire.
