FLDP ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
In the FLDP we are looking for potential finance leaders of our global business to start their CIMA training in a real role in August 2012.
You’ll need:
- a 2:1 degree in any discipline
- 280 UCAS points (or the equivalent)
Although our academic requirements are high, they are not our only selection criteria. You’ll need to be resilient, flexible, analytical yet practical and focused on taking responsibility for your own progression. Finance at BAE Systems is a very hands-on profession and will involve working in demanding industrial environments, so the tact, confidence and tenacity to challenge accepted practices and robustly manage cost savings at ground level will be important.
Finally, you must be prepared to move to new locations around the UK on an annual basis during the scheme to get the most out of the FLDP.
Many of our Business Units are engaged in government work with classified aspects; you must therefore be eligible to work in the UK and be able to successfully achieve security clearance to join the Finance Leader Development Programme.
