BAE SYSTEMS' FLIGHT SYSTEMS' SALE TERMINATES

ROCKVILLE, Maryland - BAE Systems today announced that discussions to sell its Flight Systems business to Calspan Corporation have been terminated.

The proposed sale was originally announced March 5, 2008.
 
Flight Systems, with approximately 170 employees, will remain part of BAE Systems. The Mojave, California-based business performs aircraft modification, aircraft operations, flight test, and production of full-scale aerial targets for military and commercial customers. It also has operations in Florida and Germany.
