This section of the BAE Systems Brand Standards covers the development of the two main types of clothing that we use as a company - workwear and event wear. Workwear encompasses the following items: Polo shirt, Workshirt, Overalls or protective clothing outerwear, Work fleece, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), High visibility jacket. Event wear encompasses the following items: Polo shirt, Fleece, Cap, Jumper, Gilet

Applying the BAE Systems Logo

The BAE Systems Logo should be included on all clothing. Do not use the Logo and Tagline on any clothing.

Operating Group/Business names

Operating Group/Business names can appear on work wear, but not on event wear as it is not relevant for external audiences at events to see our internal business structures, only that we are BAE Systems. For the same reason, programme titles or any slogans cannot be used on event wear either.

Approved product and partner/customer logos

These can be applied in certain circumstances on clothing. Please download the section to see more detail.

Lanyards

An approved BAE Systems lanyard must be used by all BAE Systems people. It is an important signifier that we are one company throughout all of our countries and sites. Do not develop any other lanyards, which use any additional logos, alternative designs, or text.

Merchandise

A range of merchandise has been developed to reflect our brand. You can view this collection, which includes some clothing, at the BAE Systems web shop, available under the Business Services menu on Connectus.
