Using other logos
We are one company, one brand. The aim of all communications is to protect and reinforce the BAE Systems brand. Speak to the Brand and Corporate Promotion Manager if you have any questions about developing or using logos.
Using the BAE Systems Logo
1 The basic rule for incorporating other logos with the BAE Systems Logo is that any other
logo sits opposite the BAE Systems Logo, depending on the original position of the
BAE Systems Logo.
2 The BAE Systems Logo should never be combined with another logo.
3 Always include the BAE Systems Logo on wholly BAE Systems branded materials.
Using the Logo and Tagline
The Logo and Tagline can only be used with wholly owned BAE Systems products or programmes.
It should never be used where BAE Systems is a partner with other companies.
Developing other logos
Other logos cannot be developed to represent your project or communications unless you can fulfil defined business criteria. Although we have some approved logos for certain products or company initiatives, in general, any product/project should be referred to by name only. You are advised to speak to your Brand and Corporate Promotion Manager about the criteria for developing another logo set out in the Brand Standards, but key points to note are as follows:
- Logos are not allowed for internal initiatives
- Internal logos can detract from the BAE Systems logo, and the fact that this is who we work for
- Too many internal logos can be confusing to other employees and potential customers - again detracting from the BAE Systems logo.
Joint ventures and partnership identities
Do not attempt to approximate the BAE Systems brand identity for a joint venture or partnership. In this case, develop a new brand altogether.

The above information is only a summary of the Brand Standards in this area. Please download the relevant Brand Standards section and any templates or files from the Downloads box on this page. All internal or external communications require sign-off prior to production by your Brand Champion - you will need to allow enough time for this to take place.
