Livery
In order to present a unified company image, only the Logo should be applied - not the Operating Group/Business.
Vehicles
BAE Systems operate a large variety of vehicles, so the livery varies in detail from one vehicle type to another. The overall colour scheme for vehicles is white and Corporate Grey, The Corporate Red is used only as a highlight and for the Logo. Please refer to the Brand Standards that can be downloaded from this page for colour references in vinyl and paint. Use common sense with regard to the visual lines on vehicles, with cut-off points for the Corporate Grey determined by the natural body line of the vehicle. The red flash should be terminated close
to the door line.
Special-purpose vehicles such as Security and Fire Rescue, or any vehicles bound by Health and Safety Regulations form an exception to the general rules outlined. They should be painted in their designated colour schemes, with the Logo in Corporate Red on a white vehicle, and the Logo in black with white lettering on a red vehicle.
Aircraft
There is an approved design for the tailfin of BAE Systems shuttle aircraft. The same livery design is updated with a different colour from the Colour Palette to differentiate aircraft. The
BAE Systems Logo is not applied on to aircraft. If you are producing aircraft livery, contact your Brand Champion who will put you in contact with suppliers who hold original artwork.
