Email signatures
The content and order for the signature is based on the company business card and letterhead.
Content and order
Begin with your full name and qualifications and position, followed by the business. A full carriage return is then followed by your telephone, mobile/cell phone, fax and email and the global web address (without any url extensions).
You should also ensure you comply with local legal requirements (if any) in your relevant jurisdiction concerning the information you are required to include on company business communications. Your local Legal department can advise you on this.
In the UK you must include the name of the BAE Systems company on behalf of which you are sending the email, the registered office address of that company, the company number and place of registration.
Typeface
Arial is the preferred typeface for all digital communications, and should be used for the body of your email, and the signature. Keep the type size the same throughout. To help give some differentiation to the signature, a tint of 70% black is allowed if required.
Logo
If you use an HTML format for your email you may wish to include the company's social media 'bar' in your email signature. This identifies the company's official presences on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and Flickr. Contact the Digital Media Team for the latest social media bar and other digital specifications. We do not recommend using any other images, such as the BAE Systems Logo.
