The color cockpit TV sensor, a form, fit, and function replacement for the current BAE Systems monochrome heads-up display camera, serves more than 30 types of aircraft in 28 nations, and boasts more than 2,500 systems delivered to date.
CCTVS cameras come with a number of operational enhancements that make this system the benchmark design for reliable mission video recording. These cameras include a higher-resolution color imaging sensor and expanded low-light, night time performance, ensuring quality, versatility, and dependability in the most challenging operations. The CCTVS, an ideal support tool for tactical, surveillance, and training missions, is flying on more than 400 F-16s worldwide, and is a cousin to other advanced cockpit video recording systems provided by BAE Systems for more than 30 U.S. and foreign services.
