The joint effects decision support suite (JEDSS) is a modular collection of tactical decision support aids for planning fires support and executing network fires for ground forces at the brigade level and lower.
JEDSS provides unprecedented automation support for these functions, reducing manpower requirements and targeting timelines for network fires by more than one order of magnitude relative to existing deployed systems.
JEDSS builds on the fires and effects planning capabilities that BAE Systems developed for future combat systems, and is fully compatible with the future combat systems architecture.
