The consolidated application integration (CAI) program has been successfully providing operations and maintenance support to defense customers since 1998. CAI is currently supporting more than 40 systems at annual cost savings averaging 40 percent, with a customer satisfaction rating of Excellent.
Unlike the traditional operations and maintenance model of dedicated (one-to-one) technical support, CAI is founded on sharing a broad spectrum of technical resources across multiple systems. This strategy ensures that the appropriate skill set is available when necessary, resulting in a technically-superior support structure at quantifiable cost and time savings.
