Under the solutions, integration, and deployment (SID) project, BAE Systems provides the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Directorate for Information Management and the Chief Information Officer-Enterprise IT Solutions Group with a cost-effective, matrixed approach to information technology support services.
BAE Systems also supports the development of existing and new Department Of Defense Intelligence Information System intelligence and business applications, as well as mission needs of the information technology infrastructure.
By virtue of its complementary projects, CAI and capital planning and investment control, BAE Systems provides the DIA with a full lifecycle view of its information technology support requirements. BAE Systems is migrating from CAI to SID-proven “best practices”, which will facilitate its ability to offer the DIA management consistent, well-documented recommendations for changes or enhancements to information technology applications.
