ORACLE user interface
It is an advantage to be able to predict the performance of a product at an early stage of design, so that the requirements of the customer are met and an optimum solution is devised. As many of the products that BAE SYSTEMS has developed involve human operators receiving information from a visual display, it was important to be able to predict the visual performance of those operators.
The model may be applied to direct display evaluation or to ground-to-ground, ground-to-air and air-to-ground scenarios, to scenes that are empty or cluttered, and to scenarios involving target or observer motion. ORACLE is capable of a wide variety of applications including operational analysis, sensor evaluation and assessment of stealth technologies. It has been subject to continued testing and development at the Advanced Technology Centre over many years.
