It takes ambitious people in all professions to build nuclear submarines, contribute to the UK's future carrier programme and lend expertise to civil nuclear power projects.
What we do
Welcome to the home of the UK's most extensive submarine and warship design capability. As well as being the only designer and builder of UK nuclear submarines, we're contributing to the UK's future aircraft carrier programme and applying our expertise to civil nuclear power generation opportunities.
Astute
When the Astute Class submarines enter service, they'll be the largest and most powerful attack submarine ever built for the Royal Navy. Until then, it remains the UK's most demanding engineering project.
Future aircraft carrier
How big is your thinking? The future Aircraft Carriers for the Royal Navy - HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales - will be the largest and most powerful surface warships ever built in the UK.
Working here
There are 4,100 of us in all, spread across nine UK locations, including our four main sites. Our shipyard at Barrow-in-Furness is designated as a submarine centre of excellence; with update and integration facilities for our Astute, Swiftsure and Trafalgar classes divided between sites in Farnborough, Weymouth and Ash Vale.
Wherever you join, you'll need the ambition, vision and talent to partner our stakeholders to deliver truly exceptional submarines, ships and civil nuclear elements, on time and to budget.
